Standards A powerful search makes it extremely easy to access IS/BIS Standards.

There are around 18,726 Standards made available to the public under the provisions of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) Act of 1986 and the Right to Information Act (RTI) of 2005. Thanks to Public Resources to make the resources available to the public for free.

Standards Android application helps to search, retrive and organise the BIS standards from Archive. Standards applications helps you to search the relevant Indian standard released under the RTI act based on Indian Standard numbers(example: IS 919-1) or keywords or based on different division of engineering groups. Indian standard can be downloaded and viewed in a PDF Viewer which is built with in the application or can be locally downloaded to the Android Download Folder.

BIS standards released under RTI act is freely available in the Archive. Standards application helps to narrow down the search relevant to Indian standards (Bureau of Indian Standards) from Archive.

A Search can be based on IS Standards number with autocomplete feature or using Keywords.

Based on Division search has different engineering division as below. Each division has sub divisions which can narrow down the search to the relevant IS Standards.
